BREVARD COUNTY — COVID-19 boosters seem to be on everyone’s mind lately. Questions of booster eligibility, cost and whether you can get a shot from a different brand than your original vaccine will be answered at a free Lunch & Learn event by One Senior Place.
The event will offer free Moderna booster shots by Florida Health Care Plans and a free lunch for attendees. Dr. Summerpal Kahlon will present “COVID-19 Booster News” to answer any questions seniors may have.
An RSVP is required to attend the event at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2 at One Senior Place, 8085 Spyglass Hill Road, Melbourne. Please call (321) 751-6771 to reserve your seat.
“Anyone can attend the presentation,” said One Senior Place Director Barbara Fradkin. “There are many people coming that are not getting the booster or have already gotten the booster.”
Dr. Kahlon is an infectious disease specialist, and he will give attendees the latest information on what COVID-19 treatments are available.
For those who may not be able to attend the luncheon presentation, One Senior Place will have the information Dr. Kahlon provides. Additionally, One Senior Place will be able to point visitors in the right direction for additional answers to their questions.
