VIERA — One Senior Place, the marketplace for senior resources at 8085 Spyglass Hill Road in Viera, will celebrate the feminine when they present Women’s Day on Friday, May 1 from 10 a.m. until 1p.m. Sponsored by Rhodes Law, P.A., the free event will include a “fashion-on-a-dime” runway show with senior models and clothes by upscale Suntree Consignment.

Chef-prepared appetizers and desserts from Alura Senior Living, along with signature “mocktails” by One Senior Place Care Management will be served to eventgoers.

Multiple self-care vendors will be on hand dispensing advice and services, including Nourish Organics & Naturals and Hair Tinsel by Lisa, with 5-minute chair massages provided by Elements Massage.

Angie Higgins, director of One Senior Place, expects Women’s Day to be a gratifying event for those who usually put others first.

“Women’s Day allows ladies to kick back and enjoy themselves,” said Higgins. “Women often prioritize others at the expense of self-care. For a few hours, we will focus entirely on their needs and their priorities. We girls like to have fun, and if last year is any indication, we expect to make a lot of women happy!”
