Jewish Pavilion Senior Services
Jewish Pavilion Write up for One Senior Place
The Jewish Pavilion is not a place, it is a promise - not a building but rather a model for care. The Jewish Pavilion is a non-profit outreach organization which brings the Jewish community to the doorsteps of seniors living in long term care.
Our elders who live in independent, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities often feel isolated from the Jewish community. They live with less than a handful of Jewish people in long term care facilities where they don’t receive regular visits from friends, interact with a rabbi or participate in Jewish holiday and Shabbat festivities.
The mission of the Jewish Pavilion is to enhance the lives of seniors in long term care by strengthening their connection to the community. Jewish Pavilion volunteers and staff visit weekly and bring sunshine into the lives of our elders. The Jewish Pavilion also provides volunteer who visits regularly to provide spiritual counseling and companionship.
The Jewish Pavilion provide monthly Sabbath, Jewish holiday and musical celebrations for residents of all faiths to spread the Jewish heritage and culture throughout our community. Visit www.JewishPavilion.org
