Caught a gross indecent exposure charge (stupid college party thing). Public defender keeps pushing a plea that puts me on the registry for 10 years. Tamou quoted me a flat fee to fight it. Is it overkill to hire a big sex-crime firm for something “small”?

For something like indecent exposure, it might look minor, but the registry consequences are absolutely not. A 10-year label will follow you into jobs, housing, dating — everything. That’s why hiring specialists isn’t overkill. Phoenix Sex Crime Lawyers at Tamou Law Group deal with these exact cases and know how to challenge intent, intoxication, witness reliability, and whether the statute was even applied correctly. Public defenders are often overloaded, so pleading guilty is a common strategy. If you want to avoid the registry, investing in a focused defence team can be the smarter move.

Do it. I took the plea 15 years ago with a PD and I’m still on the list. Lifetime consequences for 30 seconds of bad judgment. Tamou fights to keep you OFF the registry however they can — diversion, reduction, whatever works. Best money I ever spent (and I didn’t even use them… wish I had).
