My CRM costs more than my car insurance… how did it get this bad?

I swear my CRM bill shocked me this month — it’s now officially higher than my car insurance. I started with the basic plan, just to keep track of clients and automate a few emails, but now every “must-have” feature comes with an upgrade. I feel trapped, like downgrading would mess up my whole setup. Anyone else realize too late that they’re overpaying for stuff they barely use?

I’ve noticed that with a lot of software lately — they lure you in with low prices, then each year the bill creeps up quietly. It’s not just CRMs either; even tools for project tracking or invoicing keep adding “premium” tiers. Makes you think about how many subscriptions we’re all carrying without really checking the math.

Yeah, been there. I switched last year after realizing I was paying enterprise-level money for a team of five people. Some of these tools just keep adding “add-ons” until you’re bleeding cash.
