th Annual Woman's Day Extravaganza!
Ladies, took part in our exciting celebration of women's achievements through the ages in a casual, fun and inspiring setting. They heard about exotic travels and the importance of community involvement from local philanthropist Ruth Fun, watched health and exercise demonstrations, met wellness professionals, and enjoyed wine and delicious refreshments throughout the day.

Attendees had a seat on a custom fuschia & crystal-encrusted motorcycle from Space Coast Harley-Davidson!
The event included enlightening presentations:
12:30 pm - "Cloth and Culture" A conversation about the worldwide travels and philanthropic efforts of multi-faceted octogenerian Ruth Funk, namesake of Brevard's latest addition to the cultural scene: The Ruth Funk Center for Textile Arts at Florida Tech.
1:30 pm - Rebeca Porter of Wherever Wellness presented an interactive approach to maintaining good health and fitness as women age with simple, practical tips.
3:30 pm - Dr. Rebecca Hunton discussed the roles of women throughout their lives - as caregivers, homemakers, mothers, friends, warriors, worriers - and advised on how to address health issues at these different stages through stress reduction, self-care, exercise, awareness and more.
